Cygnus Editor Operating Manual

Names page. If a query is performed from the Input/Output name page then the

names assigned by the system will be shown with a yellow background (see Figure

3-16). This yellow background indicates that although these names were read from

the controller there is no information on the Channel Hardware Parameter pages

(in the Editor) to confirm their accuracy. Therefore, the names highlighted in yellow

cannot be saved to the Editor memory or the Main Page. Only the Names entered

by the user will be saved to the Editor memory in this case.
